Small canvas studies created as part of the ’23 minimalistic body of work. Studies both on canvas or paper are an essential part of my painting practice as they help me hone down my techniques and style. I allow myself a lot more freedom as I don’t have to worry about ruining a large piece of canvas. A lot of them never get published of course, some I keep for myself as I reminder of my painting journey. Here is a selection of the best ones for you to enjoy, if you’re not quite ready for a large piece.
